Change default installation path
Changing the default application installation path can help you manage disk space and organize your files better. To change the default installation path in Windows, open the Settings app by pressing Windows + I. Navigate to System > Storage > Change where new content is saved. Here, you can select a new default location for apps, documents, music, and other types of content. Additionally, for individual installations, most software installers allow you to choose a custom installation path during the setup process. Select the custom option when prompted and specify the desired location. Remember to create a dedicated folder for your installations to keep things organized.
Click browse to select the installation location.
